Guidelines for secure sharing of systems, data, or sessions via remote access

InclusiDesk recognises the need for secure and accountable sharing of information and access through remote technologies. This policy outlines the expectations, tools, and practices that govern our remote sharing activities with clients, partners, and internal teams.

Scope

This policy applies to all remote sharing activities involving access to systems, data, or collaborative tools such as file shares, desktop sessions, or virtual environments.

Authorised Sharing Only

Tools and Encryption

All remote sharing must utilise secure platforms (e.g., encrypted cloud storage, secure remote desktop) and avoid personal accounts or unauthorised third-party software. Encryption is mandatory for all data transfers and sessions.

Monitoring and Audit

Remote sessions may be logged for audit and compliance purposes. Activity logs are reviewed periodically to detect misuse or unusual access behaviour.

User Responsibilities

Exceptions and Violations

Exceptions to this policy must be authorised in writing by a senior manager. Violations may result in access restrictions or disciplinary action depending on severity and risk.
